Midfielder Isaac Nii Kwei has revealed that the constant sex demands from women in Thailand is destroying talented Ghanaian players who are struggling to get clubs in the Asian country.
The Ghanaian player says most of his fellow Ghanaian football players with him in the Kingdom of Thailand are exchanging sex for money with Thai women to survive.
This comes after the revelation that several talented players who have left the local top-flight to play in Thailand have been left stranded by bogus agents who have left them to fend for themselves in Thailand.
This means the players have to resort to sleeping with Thai women to earn a living to be able to survive after being neglected by the clubs or agents who invited them to the country.
Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Abdul Samad Okocha and Stephen Offei are among some of the top players who have been caught in this mess after being neglected by fake agents.
Nii Kwei, who plays forà Ayutthaya FC, says Thai women constant demand for sex from these struggling footballers is destroying the talent in some of the Ghanaian footballers.
ââ¬ÅThis is my first seasonà in the country [Thailand]à after an agent lured me here.à He gave me a lot of promisesà but when I arrived, it provedà an empty one so I had toà struggle to survive,â⬠Nikweià told Nkoranza-basedà Akyeaa FM.
ââ¬ÅLife is not easy here, Ià play for my team only if theà place is safe because myà working permit has expired.à Many players are into a lot ofà ungodly acts just to findà their feet, some of whom areà Ghanaians.
"They cannotà return home because theyà are not financially sound.à Some have now resorted toà dealing in illegal drugsà while others live with localà women.
ââ¬ÅThese women like sex aà lot so you will have to satisfyà them every day beforeà they will help you. We areà going through hell-like situationsà just because of football.
"Players like Abdulà Samed ââ¬ËOkochaââ¬â¢ andà Stephen Offei are here withoutà a club and it pains meà how these talented playersà are going through situationsà like this.
"I will advise theà young ones not to hastilyà move from Ghana to play inà Asia.
ââ¬ÅThey should make sureà all their documents are intactà to prevent frustrations,â⬠theà disturbed Ghanaian playerà advised.
Ayutthaya FC are currentlyà lying 11th on the Thaià First Division League logà with 32 points, two pointsà above safety
