TP Mazembe midfielder Solomon Asante is the latest Black Stars player to arrive in camp ahead of this weekend international friendlies.

The 24 year old diminutive midfielder is again enjoying a splendid season in Congo and arrived in camp on Wednesday morning to begin training with his international team mates.

The former Berekum Chelsea midfielder’s arrival means Fatau Dauda, Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Dede Ayew  and Ebenezer Assifuah are all confirmed to be in camp with the numbers expected to sky as the day grows up.

Asante was a key member of the Black Stars squad during the AFCON qualifiers but struggled to get into the team during the competition itself.

His form has been solid since and he will look to get a run out to stake a claim in the team.

Ghana will play both Senegal and Mali on the 28 and the 31st respectively of this month respectively.
