Derek Boateng will not be making his dream move to the English Premier League, the Ghana midfielder has confirmed.

The 29-year-old was reported to be on his way to hold a medical at Fulham after an undisclosed fee was agreed upon with Ukrainian club Dnipro on transfer deadline day.

Last minute attempts were made to revive the deal after Boateng revealed the move was in serious doubt via his official twitter page.

The move has now been confirmed to have fallen through by the talented midfielder via his same twitter page few minutes ago.

"Deal with Fulham FC is off," the ex Getafe man tweeted.

This means Boateng will stay at Dnipro for the time being and must now fight his way back into the starting XI after falling out with manager Juande Ramos.

Boateng has been linked to a move to the English League for the past three seasons with Fulham and West Brom the most talked of destination.

The Ghana international will however have to wait at least until the next transfer window in January to realize his obvious dream of playing the World’s most followed championship.

The former Cologne man will also have to pick himself up from this major disappointment quickly to help Ghana in the final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi on October 8.
