Community Soccer: Uwasi beat Fumbisi to win Feok Festival Games

Uwasi defeated Fumbisi to win this year’s Bulisa Feok Festival Annual Fun games held in Sandema.

The competition organized by the concerned youth in Feok with support from Authentic Sports, brought together twelve teams from twelve communities in the Builsa Traditional Area.

They include, Wiaga, Sandema, Kadema, Chuchuliga, Siniensi, Bachonsa, Fumbisi, Weisi, Uwasi, Kanjaga, Gbedema and Doningaa.

Winners; Uwasi were presented with a giant trophy and products from Latex Foam following their lone goal triumph over Fumbisi in the finals played at the Sandema Stadium.

The Overlord of the Builsa Traditional Area, Naab Azaasuk Azantilow II challenged the youth to take to sports as a career while improving their health rather than living idle and unproductive lives.

According to him, sports, especially football has become a very meaningful career and its benefits are extremely enormous.

The Deputy Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Daniel Sym, Deputy Interior Minister And MP for Builsa North Mr. James Agalga, District Chief Executives for Builsa North and South and the 2013 winner of Ghana's Most Beautiful Poka, took turns to present Latex Foam products to deserving players.
