Yusif Abubakar has tipped Medeama to win League title

By Patrick Akoto

Coach Yusif Abubakar is confident Medeama will win the Premier League title in the upcoming season.

The Mauves and Yellows are determined to improve on last season performance after they placed fourth following a riveting display in the second half of the season.

Many deals have been done without the full glare of the public in the transfer-window and the club’s assistant coach believes they will cause a sensation this term.

“We are preparing slowly and  believe me people will be surprised to see the new look Medeama side,” Abubakar said

“Training is going as planned and the old and new players are getting used to the system that we will unleash on other clubs in the upcoming season,”

“We had a difficult campaign in the first round and that’s what we want to avoid this season,”

“I remember All Stars beat us at home on the opening day and that really affected team confidence but we are putting our house in order and with God on our side, I believe we can win the League.”

Abubakar is rumoured to be on his way to take over the mantle at Berekum Arsenals.
