Coach Tony Lokko has signed a one- year contract extension designed to keep him at newly promoted Amidaus Professionals until 2013.

The former Tema Youth gaffer mastemined Amidaus’ historic qualification to the elite division after an exciting neck-to-neck race in the National Division One League playoffs.

The Tema-based side has rewarded Lokko for the feat by handing him a one-year deal.

“I have signed one-year deal with the club. We are happy we qualified to the top flight but great work lies ahead,” Lokko said

“It was only natural that I continue the work that I started in Division One after guiding them to the Premier League.

“I want to look at our first season first and see how it goes.”

Amidaus qualified to the top flight after they edged past King Solomon, Istanbul and Danbort FC in their promotional playoffs  last month.
