Coach of Prampram Mighty Warriors Prince Owusu is full of praise for the three players selected from his side for trials with Liverpool.

Bright Gyenfi, a 16-year-old defender and 18-year-old midfielders James Akaminko and Nurudeen Amed will travel to Anfield in April to be further accessed by the Liverpool technical staff.

And Owusu who was instrumental in securing the trial for the trio alongside his foreign partners believes his players have what it takes to make the grade with the English giants.

“These boys are young kids that are coming up and when you see them play you can see clearly this is not just luck, their performance is what has created this opportunity for them,” he told Accra-based Radio XYZ.

“They are very good and talented players and I believe what is left now is their attitude and behaviour for them to blossom into stars.

“I have some agents I work with and they were the ones who made this deal possible and one of the boys for instance is a diehard Liverpool fan so I am very happy for them.”
