Augustine Adotey will be on the Black Maidens bench for Saturday's FIFA U17 Women's World Cup final qualifying round first leg tie against Equatorial Guinea.

Adotey has had a busy schedule since his elevation as head coach of Medeama following the resignation of Dutchman Hans Van der Pluijm.

But the soft-spoken trainer says he will direct affairs on the touch lines before leading Medeama in their Ghana Premier League clash at Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.

Assistant Maidens coach Ben Fokuo began preparations with the side early this week before Adotey joined for Friday's final session.

The return leg will be played in Malabo in a fortnight with the winner over two legs advancing to Costa Rica for the finals.

Ghana won bronze at the 2012 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan.
