Christopher Bonnie prefers a move to Asante Kotoko

Christopher Bonnie is heading to Asante Kotoko haven excelled on loan at Ebusua Dwarfs.

The defensive midfielder is also being chased by AshantiGold.

The Uni Star Academy player however prefers a move to the Premier League champions.

Negotiations are set for this weekend in Kumasi where the player’s representative Ernest Kuffour will be leading discussions.

“I am due to arrive in Kumasi later today (Friday) for a funeral,” Kuffour told Asempa FM.

“I will however use the opportunity to speak to Kotoko officials over the player they have expressed interest in.

“The player has expressed the interest of joining Kotoko rather than AshGold so we are only pursuing his preference for now.”

Bonnie joined Dwarfs at the start of the season on loan from Uni Star Academy.

His impressive debut season in the Premier League has however caught the eye of Kotoko who are ready to hand him a permanent deal.
