Ghana winger Christian Atsu wants to use the Europa League to launch himself into stardom at Everton.
The 22-year-old looks set to start for Everton on Thursday night when they face Russian club Kuban Krasnodar in Europeââ¬â¢s second tier competition.
Injury to Belgian star Kevin Mirallas could make an opening for the ex FC Porto youngster.
The on-loan Chelsea is relishing the opportunity and wants to use it to prove himself worthy.
"The Europa League is very important for everyone at Everton and it's a big opportunity for me to prove myself as a player," Atsu said.
The Ghanaian will be coming up against his compatriot Rabiu Mohammed who plays for Krasnodar on Thursday.
