Ghana winger Christian Atsu lasted the entire duration of the game for Dutch Eredivisie leader Vitesse Arnhem in their narrow 3-2 win over NAC Breda on Sunday.

The 21-year-old former FC Porto held down his place in Peter Bosz’s starters sheet and lasted the entire duration of the game at the GelreDome to tighten Viagra their lead at the top of the table.

Since breaking into the Vitesse first team squad, the Black Stars winger has given a good account of himself in an attacking midfield role and has gained the upper hand over Gael Kakuta and other competitors for the berth in the team.

He played part of the sequence of play that resulted in Vitesse’s first goal.

Atsu is also comfortable and most dangerous when used as an attacking midfielder. He can combine most dangerously with Essien, Kwadwo and Prince Boateng in the center of midfield, while Muntari, Gyan and Waris spearhead the attack. Great combination. The Germans, US and Portugal will see fire.

Atsu o Atsu. I believe him rough.

  3. soccer tycoon says:

yep, atsu was instrumental in the game. i watched the entire game. he actually got 2 shots on target, he hit the post in the first half and hit the bar in the 2nd half.he was the man of the match.

  4. Troy says:

I can’t wait to see him play in the Premiership. Or La-liga

  5. Troy says:

Hahaha papadinho. Lols really GSN is lying to us eh

  6. Assemblyman says:

Am beginning to think that GNS is not honest..Whenever I comment on a post to hit hard on Fatau Dauda, they remove the article or the reportage entirely from their site immediate without delays..Maybe GNS should rather banned my honest comments..Do your job well,do good and goodness shall pay you with good deeds. Why are these followers calling your report on Atsu as lies.with kind regards to the man of the match issue..Also give us all a big break on Fatau Dauda..We have had enough of that already..

  7. Papa Nkrumah says:

I am a great fan of the talent of Atsu. Sadly I haven’t seen much except those two brilliant goals against Lesotho and Egypt recently. When the writer suggested he starred, I was hoping to read something like the goals he scored, the penalties he won, or the assists he gave. None of the above. Please lets not hype our boy. He doesn’t need it. He is capable without all the noise we make when he merely coughs in a game.
