Christian Atsu made waves in Vitesse Arnhem win on Wednesday

Black Stars winger Christian Atsu lasted the entire duration of the game for Vitesse Arnhem in their 5-0 demolition of Noordwijk in the Dutch Cup on Wednesday night.

With Vitesse manager Peter Bosz keen on victory he fielded a strong starting-up that featured the Chelsea loanee, playing on the right side of the wings.

The former FC Porto player overly impressed forming a strong bond with French starlet Gael Kakuta on the flanks and was involved in the sequence of play that led to the third goal scored by Giorgi Chanturia.

After his incensed performance on Wednesday night, he is expected to hold down his place for Vitesse Eredivisie game over the weekend.
