Ghana has been handed a big boost ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with news winger Christian Atsu will sit out of action for ONLY 10 days.

The on-loan Everton player suffered what appeared a serious injury during their 1-0 defeat to FC Krasnodar in the UEFA Europa League last Thursday.

The 22-year-old limped off after just eight minutes in Everton’s 1-0 defeat to Kuban Krasnodar in the UEFA Europa League.

But the Toffees have revealed the Ghanaian international will spend only 10 days in the treatment room after he suffered a grade one strain.

The news will serve as real boost to the West Africans as they prepare to participate in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea where he is expected to play a role in the tournament.
