Chievo Verona coach Eugenio Corini is pushing for the club to re-sign Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie.
The 22-year-old rejoined Genoa last summer from Chievo where he had a successful one season.
He played 27 Serie A matches and scored two goals in the 2012/2013 season.
Cofie cut his teeth at Genoa and made his Serie A debut in May 2010 before being loaned out to Torino, Piacenza and Sassuolo.
This season, he has made five starts in 11 Serie A appearances for Genoa.
Cofie played the entire duration of Genoa’s shock 1-0 win over Inter on Sunday.
