Berekum Chelsea winger Solomon Asante is expected to join English Premier League side Stoke City after Ghana’s international friendly against Cape Verde next week.

The 22-year-old has been handed a two-month trial stint by Potters following his explosive performance for Chelsea in both domestic and continental games.

The former ASFA Yennenga wing-wizard was initially scheduled to arrive at the Britannia Stadium on November 15 but has had to fix a new date after being included in the Ghana squad to play Cape Verde in an international friendly on the same date.

“Because I’m on international assignment with Ghana I cannot travel on the initial date (November 15) so I will find a new date right after the game,” Asante told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Asante has been the most exciting player on the local scene this season after winning four man-of-the-match awards in seven games.

Can someone tell me which agency this guy belongs to?i got nothing against him but i think they’re players who are far better than these dude but are still not in the stars.formely,it was virtus managed players who were always favoured when it comes to inviting players into the stars but now tony yeboah managed players are also emerging which i know Afriyie acquah belongs to.unless these kind of nonsense stop,we aren’t going anywhere!
