Chelsea, Liverpool linked with Ghana defender Inkoom

Samuel Inkoom has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool

English Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool have been linked with a move for versatile Ghana full-back Samuel Inkoom.

The 23-year-old is yet to make an appearance at the Dnipro Arena this season and his agent, Christian Emile, has confirmed he is seeking a move away from the Ukrainian side.

“Samuel is definitely not happy with his situation in Dnipro, which is not acceptable for a player of his calibre,” Emile told Sky Sports.

“We are talking about a very talented young player who has already represented Ghana over 30 times.

“It is clear that the only solution for Samuel now is to move to a European club where he will play an important role and achieve success.”

The Ghana international joined the Ukrainians two seasons ago from Swiss giants FC Basel.
