Changes hit Ghana Premier League fixtures

The Premier League Board has moved Mighty Jets Premier League home match against Heart of Lions to Monday.

The fixture, initially scheduled for Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium has been moved to Monday at the same venue.

Premier League Board chief  Yaw Abra-Appiah has confirmed the change of date.

“The Mighty Jets-Lions game was initially fixed for this Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium but the date has been changed. It will now be played on Monday,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

The two sides will also have their mid-week games shifted to Thursday.

“Lions will now play Berekum Arsenal at home on Thursday instead of Wednesday and Mighty Jets’ visit to Bechem United has also been shifted to Thursday,” he added.
