Celtic interested in Manchester City's Abu

Manchester City and Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu is being linked with Scottish side Celtic.

The Sunday Mail says Celtic are among clubs keen to take Abu on-loan.

Abu has just completed a short-term spell at Norwegian club Stromsgodset but City now want him to take a step up the ladder to a stronger division.

The 22-year-old gained experience playing in Europe by featuring in the UEFA Europa League last season.

Abu was a member of Ghana’s squad which finished fourth at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea early this year.
