
Accam’s team-mate celebrates with him after the two goals
Ghana winger David Accam scored two goals to help Helsingborg to beat Swedish league title holders Elfsborg 2-1 to go top of the country’s top-flight on Monday.
The brace by the Ghana international inflicted Elfsborg’s first defeat of the season.
Accam fired his team into the lead on six minutes before the visitors rallied to draw level in the 22nd minute through Nilsson.
But the Ghanaian sealed the victory in the 39th minute, taking advantage of a defensive slip-up to restore his side’s lead.
The two goals were Accam’s fourth and fifth of the season, making him the third highest scorer of the competition so far.
The victory take Helsingborg to top of the table with 22 points, two more than second-placed Goteborg after nine rounds of matches.

Berekum Chelsea U20 against Men United
Berekum Chelsea’s youth team finished 7th at the Copa Amsterdam tournament after beating Dutch side Men United 2-0 on Monday.
The pair of goals were scored in the second half against Ronaldo de Boer’s side.
Enoch Gyimah lobbed the ball past the Men United goalkeeper on a one-on-one situation and Daniel Tetteh scored a goal of the tournament contender later.
Tetteh fired home from 30 yards to put the game beyond their opponents.
The Young Blues are expected in Accra on Wednesday morning.
