Cameroon say Ghana have no case after appealing a CAF ban disqualifying them from play at next yearââ¬â¢s African Junior Championship finals in Niger.
Ghana were found guilty for fielding an overage player Isaac Twum in the first leg of their final round qualifier played in Yaounde.
This was after the continentââ¬â¢s football governing body sent a medical offer from Burkina Faso to rescan the player in question this month.
But Ghanaââ¬â¢s argument has been the medical officer is not a radiologist and cannot read the MRI scan correctly.
Media officer of Cameroonââ¬â¢s U17 and U20 teams Albert Emoni said: ââ¬ÅIf the decision is overturned in favour of Ghana it wouldnââ¬â¢t change the fact that Ghana used an over-age player,â⬠he told to Asempa FM
ââ¬ÅCAF may decide otherwise, sometimes issues of this nature are a bit political but I must tell you that Ghana has no chance, this is not new to us so we know what we are talking about.ââ¬
