Burkina Faso goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama could join 1ère Division champions ASFA-Yennenga after failing to seal his move to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak before the Stallions for their 2015 AFCON qualifier.

ASFA have opened talks with the 34-year-old over a possible a move to the Burkinabe giants.

Soulama, a free agent, held talks with Hearts of Oak officials last week and agreed in principle to join them after leaving Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko after the expiration of his contract at the club.

However, despite consenting to a three-figure dollar monthly salary deal, he failed to put pen on paper before leaving to Ouagadougou to join his international team-mates.

His failure to sign the deal leaves him still free to enter into any negotiations and reports from Ghana and Burkina suggest ASFA have already began talks with him.

Accra-based radio station Asempa FM have rumoured that the keeper will reject the offer from ASFA for Hearts' deal because of his Ghanaian girlfriend.
