Bryne coach Gaute Larsen has praised the quality of Ghanaian defender Paul Addo after excelling in their 2-0 friendly win over Follo on Thursday.

Larsen expects the former Ghana youth captain to play a key role in their promotional ambition in the Norwegian second-tier this term.

Addo provided an assist as Bryne coasted to the win and manager Gaute Larsen was left satisfied with the performance of the African.

“He has clearly shown that he’s a contender in the team,” he said

“He came out of the training during the winter very well and I expect him (Addo) to explode.

“He has a lot of experience and we have a reason to be satisfied with his performance.”

Addo has been in the cold since last spring due to psychological problems but is ready to fight his way into the team this season.
