The Brong Ahafo Referees Association chief S.Y Berimah is facing dismissal after a Ghana Football Association ethics committee investigation into a case of alleged bribery.

He is to refund the 1000 Ghana cedis he accepted from the Chairman of Dabiso Royal F.C to help them qualify to the Division One League.

Also, the chairman of second-tier side Dabiso Royal FC Andrew Gyakye Frimpong is set to be slapped with a six-month ban.

He will pay a 2,000 Ghana cedis fine by offering the bribe.

The Ethics Committee listened to the extracts of the interviews of the duo on a local radio station and submission when called before the Committee.

Cheating is our game in Ghana. We boast of best well paid players and yet our football pitches look like cocoyam fields. No wonder umpires cheat. The only team we fail to cheat is Zambia. Their team has a commando, Katongo Chris. We dread him.
