Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll is hoping Ghana winger Albert Adomah would bring something different to his side as they face Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.

The 25-year-old Ghana AFCON star rejoined the Robins last week after helping the Black Stars to finish fourth in South Africa and missed seven games while on African Cup of Nations.

But he made a second-half appearance in their 2-1 defeat at leaders Cardiff City last weekend.

After completing three full training sessions, coach O'Driscoll feels Adomah is ready to bring something different on board.

O'Driscoll said: "Albert is probably the one we will look at getting into the team, because he is a little bit different to what we've got.

"He carries the ball really well and that can be useful away from home.

If we can find a role for him which he is comfortable with, then he is probably the one to come in.

He also confirmed the former West Bromwich Albion-pursuit would return to the starting line-up.

"He has had a week's training with us and is closest to getting back in the starting line-up."
