Sochaux reach deal with Marseille to sign Jordan Ayew on loan
Jordan Ayew will be playing for Marseille

French Ligue 1 Sochaux have reached an agreement with Olympique Marseille to sign Ghana international Jordan Ayew on loan for the rest of the season, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Ayew struggled for game time at the Stade Velodrome for the first half of the season and wants to improve his fortunes in 2014.

The 22-year-old made only seven starts in the 16 Ligue 1 appearances for the first half of the season.

He was down the pecking order behind Saber Khalifa and Andre Gignac when sacked coach Elie Baup was in-charge.

It does not look like his situation will improve under new coach Jose Anigo.

Sochaux coach Herve Renard has assured the youngster enough playing time.

Ayew needs to be active to maintain his position in the Ghana squad for the 2014 World Cup finals.
