Ofeibea Ramatu is the first woman to declare her interest in becoming the next President of the Ghana Football Association.

Ramatu, a coach has Transparency, Professionalism and Results as the main theme of her campaign for next year’s elections.

The beautiful lady is very popular within football circles but is not considered strong and credible enough to unseat incumbent President of the Ghana FA Kwesi Nyantakyi who has expressed interest in running for a third term.

She is even more famous for her television advert for OLS than being known as a sports or football person.

Ramatu already has her posters out to give a strong indication of her preparedness to slug it out in the expected hot contest next year.

She believes she is the right person to lead Ghana football after next year's polls.

"I have done thorough consultation with my partner [boyfriend] and other family members and have come to the conclusion that I can run for the Presidency of the Ghana FA," she told Kumasi-based Metro FM.

"I am bringing transparency, professionalism and results to the job and I will urge everyone to support me in my campaign."

Ofeibea however refused to reveal whether she is resourceful enough to meet the minimum requirement of being endorsed by members of the association to contest the hot seat.

"When we get there [to the election] you will know," she added.

"I have a well thought-out strategy and by the time next year comes around, everyone will know where I stand and the club that will endorse me."

She joins Vincent Sowah Odotei as confirmed challengers of Kwesi Nyantakyi for next year's elections.
