Ghanaian club Medeama have been drawn against tricky Congolese side AC Leopards in the final qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The draw took place at CAF headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday morning.
The Mauve and Yellows will travel to Congo for the first leg tie scheduled for the weekend of April 18-20 with the reverse fixture billed to take place a week later at the Sekondi stadium.
Leopards, who won the CAF Confederation Cup in 2012, were relegated from the Champions League by Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal.
Medeama can chalk an amazing feat if they progress to the group phase of Africa's elite inter-club competition.
They have managed successes over Panthers FC, Maghreb de Fes and Zesco United and are confronted with the final hurdle against the former champions.
The draw also threw up some intriguing pairings with record African Champions League holders Al Ahly facingà Difaa Hassani Jadida.
Two Malians club have drawn each other with AS Real Bamako clashing with Djoliba.
South African side Kaizer Chiefs will host the first leg against Ivorian giants à Asec Mimosa,à Coton Sport of Cameroon) will face Angolan side Petro Atletico.
Guinea side Horoya will be at home against Etoile du Sahel while Sewe Sport of Cote D'voire will battle Nigerian side Bayelsa.
Zambian side Nkana will be at home to Tunisian sideà Club Athletique Bizertin.
