Breaking News: Hearts handed tough AS Police of Benin clash in Confederation Cup
AS Police of Benin are the side Hearts of Oak will play in the Confed Cup

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak will face tough Benin side AS Police in the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup which starts in February next year.

The Accra-based giants will host the side owned by the police funded team in the first leg in Accra on the weekend of 13-15 February at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The second-leg is scheduled for two weeks later.

The second-leg is most likely to be played in Cotonou where AS Police host most of their matches at the Stade Cotonou II.

Hearts, who were winners of of the first edition of the competition, are seeking to revive their fortunes and will face a tough encounter with the Benin side who were very impressive in the league last season.

AS POlice finished sixth on the league table but went on the reach the final of their FA Cup which gave them the right to represent the country in the Confederation Cup.
