Ghana will wear this red jersey for away matches at the 2014 World Cup

A uniquely designed Ghana away jersey for the 2014 World Cup has been leaked showing the Black Stars maintaining the Ghanaian culture in its apparel for the global competition, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The red jersey which will serve as the Black Stars away jersey has been leaked months before the manufacturers Puma unveil it.

But the product will not disappoint Ghana fans as the jersey shows some of Ghana's culture including the kente design on the sleeves of the jersey.

Completely different from what GHANAsoccernet.com, Ghana's leading football news outfit exclusively revealed of the Black Stars home jersey for 2014 some weeks ago, the Kente cloth design is now found on the sleeve instead the neck area in the home design.

The new Black Stars away jersey will feature a saturated red called Chili Pepper and will be also unveiled in early 2014, featuring the same template as the home shirt.

The unique design around the sleeve is inspired by the Kente cloth design, which is typical for Ghana.

It is characterized by multicolored patterns of bright colors, geometric shapes, and dazzling. Puma, who always create special designs for the African teams.

A watermark of 'GHANA ... BLACK STARS' can also be seen in the new red jersey to be worn by the country's national team.

The away Shirt comes in bright red and features a large front graphic honouring the 'Black Stars'.

"Including 'Black Stars' instead of just leaving it plain is pretty cool and modern yet symbolic," an observer said.

Puma, who always create special designs for the African teams, included the special Kente design on the new Ghana 2014 home kit by printing it next to the collar and on the collar as well as the sleeve cuffs.

Ghana 2014 World Cup Kits will be presented in early 2014.
