The Confederation of African Football has written to Ghana to consider replacing Morocco as hosts for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals, according ace sports journalist Yaw Ampofo-Ankrah.

CAF is looking for a new host and Ghana, who have submitted a bid to compete for the rights to host the 2017 finals.

Government will deliberate on the letter and decide if the country is capable of this last minute plan.

South Africa has been contacted by CAF to consider their proposal.
