Ghana make three changes; Asante, Wakaso make starting lineup to face Togo, Atsu, Acquah axed
Solomon Asante replaced Christian Atsu in the Ghana lineup

Solomon Asante has replaced Christian Atsu while Mubarak Wakaso takes the place of Afriyie Acquah in Ghana’s starting lineup to face Togo in their final 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Asante who plays his club football with Congolese giants TP Mazembe is expected to provide a more clinical width to the Black Stars in a clear attacking lineup put out by interim coach Maxwell Konadu.

Afriyie Acquah who was considered not effective enough in Saturday's defeat to Uganda has also been replaced by local hero Mubarak Wakaso.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has opted for an all-attacking lineup as he plays both Abdul Majeed Waris and Jordan Ayew at the top of the Black Stars attack in the 4pm kickoff in Tamale.

Razak Brimah has been maintained in the Ghana post despite the heap of criticisms that came his way following the weekend's defeat to Uganda.

He will be protected in defence by Baba Abdul Rahman, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye and Harrison Affuol - the same back four used in the defeat to the Cranes in Kampala.

Rabiu Mohammed will play as the holding midfielder with stand-in captain Emmanuel Agyemang Badu playing a bit further.

Solomon Asante and Mubarak Wakaso will play on the flanks to provide the needed assists for the striking duo of Majeed Waris and Jordan Ayew.

Ghana only require a draw to clinch one of the automatic qualification slots from Group E for next year's AFCON finals to be staged now in Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana lineup:

Razak Brimah, Baba Rahman, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye, Harrison Afful, Rabiu Mohammed, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Mubarak Wakaso, Solomon Asante, Majeed Waris and Jordan Ayew.
