Ex Hearts of Oak star Francis Bossman and some other African players have visited the Ghana Women’s U-17 team in their camp in Azerbaijan.
Bossman, 28, who now plays in the Azerbaijani top flight with Ravan Baki used the visit to encourage the girls ahead of their second group game with Uruguay in the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Black Maidens suffered a 2-1 defeat to Germany in their opening game despite being impressive on the field of play.
The loss to Germany makes a win against Uruguay in the second game even more crucial to ensure Ghana’s survival in the competition.
Bossman alongside Guinean Oumar Kalabane and Sierra Leone’s Sheriff and Samuel Barley thus visited the camp to inspire the girls ahead of the crucial game.
The players who were recieved by head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani shared some of their personal and career experiences with the Maidens in an attempt to boost their psyche and morale.
The girls were said to have been buoyed by the visit and pledged to do their utmost best to get the victory against the South Americans on Wednesday.
The visitors on their part promised to visit the team again on Wednesday before they take to the field against Uruguay.
Its time to revenge for the Black Stars because Suarez will not be available this time!
