Bordeaux could move for Ghana captain Mensah

John Mensah has been linked with Bordeaux

Ghana captain John Mensah is being monitored by French Ligue 1 side Girondins Bordeaux, according to reports in France.

But Les Girondins must fend off competition from Scottish side Celtic who have also emerged as suitors for his signature.

Bordeaux want to shore up their back line after finishing fifth in the French Ligue 1 last season.

Mensah quit Olympique Lyon this summer over the lack of playing time.

The centre-back also battled injuries last season at the Les Gones after returning from a loan spell at Sunderland.

He made only one appearance for Lyon last term.

if mansah is 43 then he have 50 years more of playing time so dont worry about that stupid one over there.

JOHN MENSAH IS TRYING TO GET TO THE WCUP, BUT IM AFRAID HE WOINT MAKE IT BECOS HE IS TOO INJURY PRONE. I TRULY LIKE THE GUY, AND BELIEVE HE STILL HAS SOMETHING LEFT, BUT LETS BE HONEST. HE COULDNT EVEN PLAY A FULL 45MIN IN EQ. GUINEA AFCON 2012….
