Some news on the match below: Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh left out Black Stars duo Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Baba Rahman from his starting line-up to face France in their Group A opener on Friday in Istanbul, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

The duo joined their teammates on Wednesday and trained only once with the team yesterday after arriving late from the Black Stars camp.

Striker Boakye-Yiadom played a cameo in the just concluded double 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho this month.

Rahman, who plays for Greuther Furth, was an unused substitute.

Inter Milan youngster Alfred Duncan made the starting XI after dislodging Siedu Salifu in the holding midfield role.

Diminutive Moses Odjer plays as the offensive midfielder with Frank Acheampong attacking from the left flank and Michael Anaba as right winger.
