The Black Stars will hold their final training session in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday morning before Ghana’s final squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations is named.
Coach Kwesi Appiah has already held five training sessions since arriving in the Middle East on Saturday morning.
The Ghana players have trained twice daily since arriving in Abu Dhabi with the day of arrival, Saturday the only exception as the team only trained in the evening.
Tuesday’s training session at the Zayad City Sports Complex, where the 2009 and 2010 Club World Cups where held, will offer coach Appiah the last chance to closely observe all his players before he names his final squad.
Ghana must submit its final 23-man squad for the tournament by Wednesday’s deadline.
The Black Stars will train in Abu Dhabi for eight more days before departing to South Africa for the tournament.
