Black Stars striker Richmond Boakye re-joins Sassuolo on loan from Juventus

Posted On Friday, 31st August 2012

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has been loaned to Sassuolo

Juventus have loaned out Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom back to Serie B side Sassuolo, MTNFootball can exclusively reveal.

The 18-year-old signed for the Italian champions last month from Genoa but cannot be guaranteed game time in Turin.
Boakye-Yiadom’s chances at the club are limited with Sebastian Giovinco, Mirko Vucinic and Alessandro Matri available.
The Bianconeri are also on the verge of signing Denmark striker Nicklas Bentner.
Boakye raked in ten goals in all competitions for Sassuolo where he spent last season on loan from Genoa.
This will be good news for coach Eusebio Di Francesco who reached the semi-final of the Serie B promotional play-off last term.
Boakye, who scored on his Ghana debut in a friendly against China early this month, needs more playing time to preserve his place in the team.
