Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom says he wants to replicate his scoring form at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 19-year-old has been top form on loan at Italian Serie B side Sassuolo where he raked in nine goals in 18 appearances before the winter break.
He scored in last Thursday's 3-0 win over Egypt in a pre-Africa Cup of Nations warm-up played in Abu Dhabi and that justified his inclusion in the final 23-man squad.
Boakye-Yiadom, owed by Juventus, wants to make the most of any playing opportunity handed him at the tournament.
"I'm ready now and I think God will help me to realize my dream of scoring at the Nations Cup," Boakye-Yiadom told MTNFootball.com
"If the coach decides to start me or play me as a substitute, my job is to score and that is important.
"I know the Nations Cup is very tough but I think am conditioned for the challenges ahead."
Boakye-Yiadom scored on his international debut in a friendly against China in August last year.
