Ghana have been seeded for the draw for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round on July 5.

The Black Stars are in Pot 1 together with Nigeria, defending champions Zambia, Tunisia, Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea.

Egypt must overturn a 3-2 home deficit at the Central African Republic in the return leg to make to Pot 1.

If the Pharaohs advance, Morocco will have to drop to Pot 2 which includes Senegal, DR Congo and Uganda.

The 30 teams in the final round of the qualifiers will be ranked based on their performances during the last three Africa Cup of Nations (2008, 2010, and 2012 editions).

The 15 top teams in Pot 1 will paired against the 15 teams in Pot 2 for a final playoff to be decided on knockout basis between September and October.

Hosts South Africa have automatically qualified for the final tournament which will run from January 19 to February 10.
