Black Stars players will donate massively from next week when they arrive to the country to support their ailing motivator Baby 'Ojoe' Joe who has undergoing surgery to fix a kidney and liver problem.

He is currently admitted to the emergency unit of the hospital recuperating from surgery but he is challenged with the payment of the huge cost of his treatment.

This has sparked the Black Stars players to respond by pledging to support him pay his hospital bills says captain Asamoah Gyan.

“I was hit by the news of his illness three days ago and I wish Baby Joe a speedy recovery. He has always entertained us whenever the Black Stars are in camp especially in Kumasi.

"I wish I was around to visit him but I’ve spoken to my colleagues in the national team.

"We all wish him well and will soon be doing our best to support his recovery when we arrive in Ghana next week,” the Black Stars captain said.

Meanwhile Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi presented five million cedis to the ailing entertainer when he visited him in Kumasi at the weekend.
