Black Stars midfielder Agyemang-Badu hails Essien's move to Real Madrid

Posted On Sunday, 2nd September 2012

Michael Essien, left with Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, left Chelsea for Madrid on Friday.

Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has hailed Michael Essien’s loan move from Chelsea to Real Madrid.

Essien made one of the more unexpected moves on the transfer deadline night.

The midfield gem had dropped down the pecking order at the Stamford Bridge side and his departure was expected.

Badu, who was mentored by Essien in the Ghana team has expressed delight his partner will be returning to action.

He posted on his official Twitter page: “Confirmed! Essien joins real madrid. Happy for you Bro. God is Good.”

Essien has completed his loan move to the Santiago Bernabeu and could make his debut against Granada on Sunday in the La Liga.

Really God is great and wonderful. All the people who have wished the downfall of Essien should be ashamed of themselves. The class is there it was just dip in form which is normal in football but the way people were down grading him was just too bad. Look at the circumstances surrounding his transfer and you will notice the hand of God at work. After all when a door is closed quality ones are opened.Look out for wonders at RM. Chelsea seems to be ungrateful to him. Thanks JM for this wonderful opportunity. May God bless you win the champions league.
