Ghana left for Nelspruit on Monday morning for their semi-final match against Burkina Faso at the Mbombela Stadium.

This will be the first time the Black Stars will be leaving Port Elizabeth since touching down two weeks ago.

Ghana played all three Group matches in the Eastern Cape and the quarter-final clash against Cape Verde which they won 2-0 last Saturday.

The four-time African champions will play the Stallions on Wednesday night.

"I will like to thank everybody for their support," Ghana captain Gyan said.

"Talking about the first day we go to South Africa, the reception we had at the airport (Johannesburg) to PE it was really incredible.

"Three years ago we won a lot of hearts in South Africa and since we came here they have really shown appreciation and we really thank them for what they've done."
