Black Stars to launch cleanliness campaign on Thursday
The Black Stars will on Thursday launch a cleanliness campaign as part of their social responsibilities.
The campaign dubbed: ‘A Clean Ghana is a Victorious Ghana’ is in conjunction with leading Ghanaian sanitation firm, Zoom Lion.
The team will visit the offices of Zoom Lion to sign the pact to kick start the campaign.
This will be after they have received their pre-2013 Nations Cup blessings from Ghana President John Mahama.
The Black Stars are scheduled to travel to Abu Dhabi on Friday to begin their Nations Cup camping.
The team is expected to arrived in South Africa on January 16 – four days before their opening Group B game against DR Congo.
Ghana will then play Mali and Niger in the other group games.
