All 20 players in the Ghana camp took part in the team’s first training session on Tuesday in Accra.

Debutant Emmanuel Frimpong allayed his injury concerns as he participated fully in the evening session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The players started out with light jogging before subsequently picking up the pace.

They were then made to work with the ball under the watchful eye of head coach Akwasi Appiah and his assistants.

The team was then divided into two groups for a mini half park game.

Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah was in attendance as he watched his first Black Stars training session since taking office.

Players at first training session:

Daniel Agyei, Fatawu Dauda, Jonathan Mensah, Yaw Frimpong, John Boye, Isaac Vorsah, Awal Mohammed, Richard Kissi-Boateng, Baba Abdul Rahman, Albert Adomah, Solomon Asante, Rabiu Mohammed, Emmanuel Frimpong, Kwadwo Asamoah, David Accam, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Sulley Muntari, Abdul Majeed Waris, Asamoah Gyan and Mahatma Otoo.
