Black Stars to play local select side in farewell match on Tuesday

Primeval Consult will be holding a press conference on Tuesday to outline plans for the Black Stars’ farewell match which will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

The organizers will be announcing their detailed plan of events for the game which is expected to thrill and excite Ghanaian soccer fans ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

The match is being organized to give Ghanaians a chance to watch the Black Stars in action before they travel to the Netherlands to intensify their preparations for June’s tournament in Brazil.

Organizers will be using Tuesday’s press conference at the media centre of the Accra Sports Stadium to reveal the several innovations for the match on Friday.

“We will be holding the press conference on Tuesday to primarily reveal our plans for Friday’s game,” Primeval Consult’s head Larry Opare Otoo told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Am sure Ghanaians will want to know what we have up our sleeves for the game and I can assure them that the plans we have for them are very exciting.”

The full complement of the Black Stars squad for the World Cup is expected to feature in the exhibition game against a local select side.

Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng are the only known absentees after getting permission to be away from the team’s early preparations for the World Cup in Accra.
