Ghana defender Francis Dickoh has signed a six-month contract with Belgian Jupiler League side Cercle Brugge.

The centre-back has joined the team’s mid-season training camp in Portugal where he convinced the technical team.

Dickoh has been without a club since ending his contract with Aris Thessaloniki of Greece in June last year.

The Danish-born has been struggling to impress in Europe since leaving Nordsjaelland in 2006.

The 30-year-old has had stints with Dutch Eredivisie side FC Utrecht and Scottish Premier League side Hibernian.

Dickoh was a member of Ghana’s team at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations and has 13 international caps to his credit.
