Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah to ring changes for Liberia friendly

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to give some playing time to some Black Stars players on the fringes of the squad in Tuesday’s friendly against Liberia.

The ex-Ghana captain called up 24 players to prepare for the two matches against Malawi and Liberia but not all of them got the opportunity to play the game against the Flames.

With injuries and club commitment conspiring to rule out five players from the Liberia match, some of those who did not play against Malawi will be given the chance.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu and Daniel Opare are injured, while club recall means Adam Kwarasey, Harrison Afful and Emmanuel Clottey will not be able to travel for the game.

Players like goalkeeper Fatau Dauda, striker Richmond Yiadom, Abdul Majeed Waris, Razak Nuhu and Rashid Sumaila are all expected to get some playing time in Liberia.

Certainly, we have to start tinkering with the squad especially our strike force,we all know that has always been our problem and we now have a group of promising strikers. We should ditch the 4-5-1 formation,we should now start employing 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 formation to find the system which best suits the players.I don;t think its right to have Waris or Clottey sitting on the bench, they have goals in them just put them on if it work great if it doesn’t then still continue for the search for top level strikers.

Liberia will definitely beat us hands down, because wimpish Appiah is a clueless coach who relies on “Trial and Error ” method of coaching.POW, I want you to challenge me on this.I am ready for your excesses.
