Ghana captain John Mensah has been included in the squad to play China in next week in an international friendly.
The match will be played in Xi’an, Shaanxi province on Wednesday.
Mensah is making a return to the side after missing two 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June.
The big centre-man has been out of the Black Stars since sustaining a thigh injury at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in February.
He has been declared fit to return to competitive football after spending close to six months on the sidelines.
Mensah has been clubless this season after quitting French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon over the lack of playing time.
Reports say Rennes and Turkish side Fenerbahce are interested in his services.
