The Black Stars camp is now fully operational following the final to arrival of players on Tuesday night.
The Olympique Marseille duo of Andre and Jordan Ayew alongside Stromgodset goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey joined their colleagues in camp at the Aliosa Hotel – bringing the total number of reported players to 24.
This means coach Akwasi Appiah will be working with the full complement of his team for the first time in Wednesday’s training session.
A planned friendly game against an unknown opposition is however said to have been canceled for Wednesday’s session.
Rather the team will be divided into two to play against each other according to reports.
Ghana is in intense preparations to face Malawi at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday for the first leg of the final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier.
The Black Stars need to win massively to ensure the second leg away to the Flames is a mere formality.
The team will however travel to Monrovia three days later after Saturday’s qualifier to play Liberia in an international friendly.
