All financial rewards for a Ghana win over Malawi in the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier on Saturday has been made ready, the Sports Ministry has confirmed.
The Black Stars will be well taken care of in terms of cash if they are able to deliver victory over the Flames at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Ghana needs a massive win to ensure the return leg game in Blantyre next month is rendered a mere formality.
Authorities have thus ensured all financial and logistical motivation to produce this win are in place ahead of the 15:30 GMT kickoff on Saturday.
“Your money and everything else is ready, if you like you can take a look at it,” Deputy Sports Minister Edward Omane-Boamah told the team after Friday’s training session.
“We (Ministry) don’t want to take this money back and I am very sure you will beat the Malawians.”
The Black Stars will be spotting black armbands against Malawi to honour the memory of Ghana’s late President John Atta-Mills.
The team will also have the support of Ghana’s Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur who will be at the stadium for the crucial game.
Folish people, as for BLACK STARS even wen they are yet to play their bonuses n incentives are ready. its seems black stars is the only priority of ghana sports now, aside them the other teams do not receive cash incentives n support that they deserve, u guys @ the ministry n the fa officials should watch this.
