The Black Starlets have resumed training ahead of their 2015 African U17 Championship qualifier in July.

Paa Kwesi Fabian’s team trained for the first time on Friday after returning from Namibia two weeks ago where they won a four-nation tournament.

Abass Issah, who won the top scorer award at the tournament, joined his teammates in training despite concerns about his fitness

“The team trained well today (Friday) considering we have been off for some days now. We are not getting carried away as experience has shown me that at juvenile level there is the likelihood to get complacent when results go your way,” Fabin told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Now all attention moves to the African youth championship qualifiers where we failed last year, this year we are all determined to make it and follow it up to the world.”

Ghana await the winner of South Sudan and Kenya in the second qualifying round this July.
